Process:

Process:
- Sketched ideas of the initial reaction to the name of the musical.
- Watched a live recording of the play to get a better understanding of the storyline.
- Gathered images that related to both the musical and the era.
- Designed vectors in greyscale in Illustrator to experiment with different iterations of placement on the poster.
- Took the vectors into photoshop and manipulated the colors.
- Printed mockups and met with the art director of the theater department to evaluate directions and make changes as needed.
